BIO

Larry currently resides in Wayne, Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia.  He and his wife Kathy have four wonderful children and ten beautiful grandchildren. Larry taught high school English and special education for 34 years.  During that time, he wrote shows geared for high school and regional theater audiences which were performed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, and Minnesota.

Prior to the onset of Covid, Larry produced NEW VOICES CABARET in Philadelphia for nine years.  It started at the Society Hill Playhouse in 2011 before moving to the Philadelphia Boys Choir building when the Society Hill Playhouse was sold and turned into condos.  It then moved to 118 North in Wayne, PA.

Larry is the Executive Director and Producer of the MT. GRETNA SUMMER CONCERTS series in Mt. Gretna, PA. 17064.  In the fall and winter he also produces shows in various locations such as the Newtown Theatre in Newtown, PA..

He has his own Irish band (MICK"S COMPANY) which is wildly popular in the Philadelphia area.

His musical comedy entitled BURT & ME has been performed at Act II Playhouse (PA), Deertrees Theatre (ME), Society Hill Playhouse (PA), Hackmatack Playhouse (ME), Gretna Theatre (PA), Broadway Palm Theatre (FL), Palm Theatre (AZ), Delaware Theatre Company, DE. and at Florida Studio Theatre (FL), Meadow Brook Theatre (MI), and Ivoryton Playhouse (CT).  It will be produced at Gretna Theatre again this summer (2024).  Enjoy this promotional video of the show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWvwG6XuBlU

Larry was also an accomplished singer, keyboard player, and composer.  He has performed at such venues as Bethlehem Musikfest, Newport (RI) Irish Festival, Ocean City Music Pier, Philadelphia Midwinter Scottish & Irish Festival, the Bellevue in Philadelphia, Showboat Casino in Atlantic City (NJ), Boardwalk Plaza in Rehoboth (DE), Busch's in Sea Isle (NJ), Golden Inn in Avalon (NJ), Avalon Yacht Club in Avalon (NJ), Henny's in Stone Harbor (NJ), Stone Harbor Yacht Club in Stone Harbor (NJ), Woody's in North Wildwood (NJ), Boathouse in Wildwood (NJ), Chalfont Hotel in Cape May (NJ), Marquis de Lafayette in Cape May (NJ), Six in Sea Isle (NJ), and countless resort hotels in the Poconos...such as the Shawnee Inn, Pocmont, Skytop Lodge, and Caesar's.  To date he has recorded two solo CD's.

Larry has recently turned his hit comedy STRICTLY PLATONIC  into a musical. and it premiered at the Tabernacle in Mt. Gretna, PA on May 26, 2023.
